Neskowin Valley School is an independent school registered with Oregon Department of Education. We receive accreditation through Cognia. The term “independent” refers to schools that are non-profit organizations governed by a board of trustees and are independent of control and funding by any government agency. As such, independent schools are free to establish their own goals and criteria as they plan curriculum and select teachers and students.

Office Manager | DOE

We are hiring a part-time Office Manager. The Office Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining school-wide operations and plays a key role in student records, registration, and enrollment. The Office Manager will often be the first point of contact for families, employees, and contractors. It is crucial the Office Manager forms relationships with the NVS community and spends time with the students, teachers, and families of NVS.

 

Maintenance Manager | $20/hr

We are looking for a part-time maintenance manager to help with routine maintenance and special projects around the school and the grounds. 
 

Substitute Teacher | $19/hr

Become an NVS substitute. Substitute teachers are a big asset to our teaching team, allowing full-time teachers the opportunity to take needed days off. Become a teacher's hero today! 

Volunteer Librarian

We are searching for a Volunteer Librarian for 2-3 hours a week. If you would enjoy reading to students for about 15 minutes as well as maintaining a book tracking system, please apply to the school.

Volunteers

We are always looking for artists, gardeners, musicians, master organizers, and other helping hands. If you have a desire to invest in our students, we'd love to meet with you.
