It’s been a busy month for the Adventurers.
Our class was very excited to discover that our play area had been transformed into a harvest store, complete with a straw bale and corn stalks. We’ve been having fun, building community, strengthening friendships along with counting and buying our Indian corn, mini pumpkins, and gourds. Fall is such a fun time in the adventurers classroom.
This month we also had lots of visitors to our classroom and school - from Halloween to Grandfriend's Day. We enjoyed Trunk or treating, beading, and singing “You are my Sunshine” to our Grandfriend's. We’ve also enjoyed stretching and breathing deeply during yoga with Tanner.
In between these days, we’ve been adventuring outside and exploring our environment. It’s really fascinating to observe the changes in the creek, trees, and so much more during this time of year. We’ve also been on many culinary adventures, such as making rice crispy treats and mini apple pies to integrate culinary art, math, and literacy.
We are so thankful for the fun times that we have on our many adventures.
