EXPLORERS - November 2017

The falling rain and temperature do not keep these explorers indoors! Each day is a new opportunity to discover something new and thrilling! From mushrooms to birds to fallen trees, our students notice it all!

Currently, they are learning about first impressions of various animals and are graphing emotional responses to scorpions, bears, wolves, snakes, bats, spiders, and others. After researching, they will evaluate their new emotional response to see if information and facts can change first impressions!

One little project encourages higher level thinking, math skills, predicting, inferring, writing, speaking, questioning, hypothesizing, and reflection! They have already taken the lesson and applied it to other scenarios without coaching. They are wise children.

We are all thankful to be learners at NVS!
