May for the Navigators has meant sunshine, discovery, and bravery! Students worked together as a whole school to put on an amazing play, exploring the magic of Japanese culture, while broadening and utilizing literary skills to put on an excellent performance. The Navigators spent time studying, planning, and designing masks which helped to add to the atmosphere of the performance and create a unique and special performance.
With the sun coming out more and more as spring progresses we’ve been exploring Neskowin Valley School’s grounds, utilizing skills that we are learning in geography and mathematics to create a map of plants on campus. Students are locating and researching local edible plants, watching as flowers bloom and vegetables grow.
What amazing imaginations and abilities the Navigators have revealed this year! It is incredible to see everything they have and can achieve across all subjects. We are so lucky at NVS to see these students grow into lifelong learners!
