REFLECTIONS - April 2019
We are on the cusp of our favorite time of year . . . Spring! The earth is coming alive, and we're beckoned outside with the promise of sunshine and the music of spring all around us - rushing water, birds chirping, leaves blowing lightly in the breeze. The joy of sharing in nature's beauty with our students is endless.
We remark each year anew at the magnificence we are surrounded by and the uniqueness of our school's campus; nestled in the Siuslaw National Forest. Finding the first salamander, the first trillium flower, or the first frog of the season and sharing in the discovery with our students never gets old.
We are deeply thankful for our founders, George and Margot, for their bravery and courage. For seeing a need and creating this magical space so that we can all learn and grow together.
