REFLECTIONS - October 2018
We would like to thank everyone that made our 36th Annual Harvest Festival such a great success. This year's festival was a record-breaking year! We made over $24,000 at the event, $4000 more than last year. We are so grateful to everyone who made that possible, from sponsors to musicians, vendors to auction bidders. Your support is the reason our school continues to thrive year after year.
As we move into the winter season, we are excited to have new ductless heaters installed in the Center. Thank you to the Tillamook PUD for this very generous energy efficiency grant. We've also recently updated our cafeteria tables after receiving a much-needed grant from the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund. These community partners are providing NVS with the necessary resources to improve and better our space. We are so appreciative of their support! If you would like to thank them personally, feel free to mail in a thank you card to the school and we will be sure it gets the correct recipient.
We are looking forward to a great year of learning! Thank you for joining us on this journey.
