On April 13, 2024, Neskowin Valley School will host its first Sip and Savor Auction fundraiser at the Kiawanda Community Center in Pacific City, OR. From 5:00pm-9:00pm, attendees will enjoy live music featuring The Mostest, wine tasting featuring Silas Wines, Botaneity, Trout Lily Ranch, canapés featuring Chef Ryan McMullen with Dew Restaurant, and a live auction to support NVS’s Arts and Sciences Program.
Arts and science practices invoke a sense of curiosity, expression, community, and collaboration. For this reason, NVS has always valued and invested in the arts and sciences, and it is especially important in a time when a number of professions in the 21st century include career paths in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics that rely on critical and creative thinking (National Science Foundation, 2017).
The Arts and Sciences Program provides the opportunity to develop the magical NVS theater productions, provide music and language lessons, high-quality art supplies, host community STEM nights, relevant professional development, and engage students in gardening and environmental science projects. 100% of proceeds benefit NVS students, families, and the community!
You can support the NVS Arts and Sciences Program by attending the Sip and Savor Auction on April 13, 2024 or by donating an experience or item to the auction. The online silent auction will be available beginning April 6, 2024 until 5:00pm on April 13, 2024. The live auction will resume in person at the Sip and Savor Auction event.
