We are seeking a collaborative, skilled Part-Time Upper Elementary Teacher to support students in Grades 3–5 ( or grades 4–6 dependent on enrollment) with a strong focus on literacy and mathematics. This role centers on building solid foundations in reading, writing, spelling, and math while nurturing confident, capable learners. The ideal candidate balances clear, explicit instruction with student-centered, experiential learning and enjoys connecting academic skills to meaningful, real-world contexts.
This teacher will foster a classroom culture grounded in belonging, curiosity, and emotional safety, supporting both academic growth and whole-child development. You will collaborate closely with the lead teacher and school team, use observation and formative assessment to guide instruction, and help students apply their learning through outdoor, place-based, and community-connected experiences. We are looking for an educator who values relationships, flexibility, and thoughtful engagement in the life of the school community.
